Notable People Hall of Fame

In addition to our well-known musicians and athletes, the Museum of the Gulf Coast also showcases the many politicians, soldiers, actors, movie producers, activists, inventors, and other "notable people" who have called this region home. From chemist A.M. McAfee's work refining high-octane gasoline to actress Evelyn Keyes' performance in Gone With the Wind, the Gulf Coast boasts many individuals who have achieved great success in their respective fields.
